Residency Weekends

Residency weekends are designed to enhance your academic and student experiences. Key components of a successful residency weekend include lodging, meals, academic content, and program logistics. Please review the details regarding your time on campus to maximize your experience.

Attire Guidelines

While our EMBA program does not have an official dress code, we have a few guidelines to help new cohorts. We trust our executive professionals to dress within the 'business casual' category for class.

Guidelines:

• Layering: Classrooms can be chilly, so consider wearing layers or a sweater.
• Footwear: As we frequently walk across campus, comfortable shoes are essential.
• Spirit Day: We occasionally have a pre-appointed 'Spirit Day,' where jeans and logo attire are encouraged.
• Professionalism: On regular class days, attire should be professional and comfortable.

Visiting professors, business leaders, and prospective students may join classes anytime, so remember that your cohort represents the University of Notre Dame. If you're unsure whether a particular item of clothing is appropriate, it's best to err on the side of caution and choose something else.

Meal Service on Campus

During each residency, the program provides two meals: breakfast and lunch.

• Breakfast: A continental or light breakfast is served each residency morning at Stayer in Commons B, starting one hour before the morning class.

• Lunch: Lunch is typically served at Stayer in Commons B. However, throughout the program, we also host lunches at various on-campus venues at Notre Dame.
